The badger hair has unique hydrophilic properties which allow it to hold on to water. If you use warm or hot water, the badger brush will hold the water and the attendant heat and evenly distribute warm moist lather to your face. The motion of applying the lather to your face also causes the hair in your beard to 'stand up' in a proper position to be removed by the blade.

We simply can't say enough about the utility and pleasure of shvaing with a brush. If you're sceptical, try one of our starter brushes to begin with but keep in mind that they will only give you a semblance of what shaving with a badger brush will be like. Once you're hooked, you can move up to a proper badger brush.

We haven't forgotten you frequent travellers: there's no reason to go a day without a shaving brush since we have two types of travel shaving brushes.

Tip: Super badger brushes are more absorbent and are softer than Pure badger brushes.

Tip #2: For proper hygiene and to ensure the longevity of your brush, you must allow it to dry fully between uses. It should be shaken vigourously after use to remove all excess water and then placed in a stand so the bristles can drain during the day.
