These shaving gels are a relatively new product from Taylor of Old Bond Street. They are both extremely effective and can be purchased in either a brushless or a brush formulation.
As far as a comparison to shaving cream or shaving soap, the gel is equally effective and it comes down to a matter of personal preference. The product starts off as a gel and works into a foamy lather. However, the gel consistency ensures a good adhesion and offers somewhat extra protection against razor irritation.
They are particularly well suited for travelling.
